Ok so here is the situation. I have been feeding my son baby food for about little more then a month. He has been doing great with wanting to try new foods and eat. But lately like the past week the lil terd has been spitting out everything and turning his head away. I mean to everything even his bottle. I am about to pull my hair out trying to feed this kid. So i will attempt to feed him for awhile get as much in as i can. But through the rest of the day he is so whiney and cranky. What am i sappose to do???? HELP AGAIN.

It can be teething. A lot of kids get really crunky and they refure to eat totally. My son usually will eat after I apply some Oraljel and he calms down.

Nicki I have to agree it is probably teething. My daughter efused everything until she was abosolutely hungary, and if it works for your son use the orajel or teh desolving tablets to help out. He will eat when he is really hungary. Don't fret too much. Good luck.

Sounds like teeathing to me as well. You should try some oragel and freeze a tiny bowl of pediasure (kinda like icecream) it feels good to eat. don't get too excited if he gets a fever soon as well. Teathing is a miserable time for them. call his pediatritian if your concerned about his getting enough to eat, My doc was loaded with advise that I woud have never thought of on my own.

I would take him to the doctor and check his weight and make sure he is not getting dehydrated.

It could be something very simple like teething or symptomatic of a hundred other things.

Better safe than sorry and you'll will feel better after you know for sure.

How old is your son? Mine did the same thing a few times, teething and his tastes changed. He loved fruit then wouldn't touch any of it. Spit it all at me. Some times I'd warm up 5 things before he found a flavor he'd eat. I'd just keep trying and then he'd scarf up an entire box. The older he got I'd ask him do you want pears and he'd shake his head no, I'd go down the list and when I pulled out something he wanted he'd grab it and that's what I served. I didn't think he was old enough to know the difference, but he did.
