Looking for Preschool Playgroup

Hi everyone My name is Patricia I am looking for a playgroup for my children Colin 3 1/2 and Caitlyn almost 2 1/2. We live in North Plano and I am a working mom. I am looking forward also to meeting and participating with the group online. And I would love to hear your suggestions about getting into a working mom's playgroup. Or even starting.

Hey, Patricia! I stopped working a year & a half ago. When I started looking for a mom's group I couldn't find one. So I made my own. I advertised it on lots of sites for moms, CraigsList, local on-line papers, and invited my friends to join. I also took advantage of free offers from VistaPrint to get free business cards that I pass out to moms who come to the parks and other locations where we hold playdates. That was in April of this year. Right now we have approx 60 members! We had more members, but I remove the ones who join but never meet us to show us they're really moms (which is stated in our application and then again after joining). Good luck! You can do it! Really take advantage of the resources the internet offers.
