My daughter Renae has been a very gassy girl from day one...how long does it usually last?! (she's 5 mths. old) I've mentioned it to our Dr. almost every visit but they never really have anything to say about it. I did figure out that cow's milk products bother her (shes breastfed so I am Dairy free now)...and we've tried giving her the baby malox, and gass-x but they don't really seem to help. Is it normal for her to be tooting all the time? Any suggestions? |

My daughter is also gassy. I noticed when I ate broccoli or garlic that made my daughter more gassy. Try and stay away from "gassy" foods. Caffeine can also cause gas. We use the milicon drops which helps to break down the gas bubbles, she still toots but it isn't painful. The "bicycle method" helps too. When I burp her I rub her back in circles this also seems to help. Hope some of this helps. |

Yes, this is normal for your baby to have gas. As long as she is not crying from gas pain don't worry. She is fine. |

My daughter was also very gassy. If your daughter seems uncomfortable try giving her mylicon. It is safe to give her at every feeding. It turned my daughter from gas to giggles |
