| I have a baby girl who we recently found out through an ultrasound, she ahs Hip Dysplasia, so we are being seen by an orthopedic surgeon at Shriners hospital. She ahs to wear a brace around her waist and legs for at least three - four months. She also is allergic to milk. I guess i am just scared becuase I had a baby in 2002 who was born three months early and he only survived a month. I never got to hold him or bring him home. He was in th nic unit of children's hosital the entire time. So with this new baby i ma scared every time we go to the doctors. and it seems like everytime we go, there is a new problem. I guess it is just nice to know i am not alone out there, and my heart goes out to all the other parents with their children. I hope for the best for all of you! |

| hello dalila! my thoughts and prays are with you. i had a neiboor in denver who's daughter has the same plus at birth her arm and leg joints were not conected. the poor girl spent almost her first year in cast and braceses.and i know what you mean about going to the doctor,,, my daughter raina has been thru alot in her short life, she had a small birth defect, then had some kind of flu right after that, and at two she became diabetic. erust me your not alone in your feelings. |
