Hello everyone my name is Dalila and i have two kids. One is a seven year old boy named Zachary and the other is a three month old baby girl named Sofia. Sofia is quite the character already, She loves people and is constantly smiling and laughing. We recently found out she has Hip Dysplasia and has to wear a brace around her leggs and waist for at least three months, even so she is still a happy baby. I am very lucky to have them both and I am excited to meet other moms. |

Hi Daliala. That is so neat that your daughter is laughing already, I felt like it took Forever for my daughter to actualy laugh (she grinned and smiled all the time). I see you have a bit of an age difference in your 2 kids, right now I really don't think I want to have another one....is that what every new mother feels? or is this a sign I should only have one baby?! I'm sorry to hear that your daughter has hip dysplasia, I hope everything works out ok. |

Hi Elisabeth, it is nice to meet you. I think all moms think one is enough in the beggining. I vowed never to have another kid until my first was out of diapers. I did have a son in 2002, but he didn't make it, so it took a long time for me to want to get pregnant again. Now I am happy I deciede to have another child, they are so differnet from eachother, and it is facinating to watch. You may only want one, but in a few years you might change your mind. You will probably look back and realize it wasn't that bad, mainly because the no sleeping phase will pass, and it is all uphill from there! Just take your time and see how you feel iin a few years. or seven! your baby is beautiful! My advice is to enjoy them and take tons of pictures. I swear my son was just a baby, and then I blinked and now he is seven! Time flies so fast! So just enjoy it while you can! |

Thank you! Sofia is a beautiful girl too! I love the pictures at the pumpkin patch! I absolutly love taking pictures of Renae. I'm afraid if I keep this up I'm going to have a baby album to big to pick up and look though! :-) The nights are getting much easier, I think the hardest part was finding out that cow's milk bothered her poor tummy. She would have screaming fits in the morning and evening but once we figured out the problem she has been a much happier baby! I definitly like the sound of waiting till shes out of diapers before thinking about having another one (my husband supports me in this) So sence you have been through this before .. what do you wish you knew the first time around? |
