Last year for christmas my son was 7 months old and we got him the Fisher Price Baby Grand piano and we would put him in his boppy and let him sit in front of the piano and bang on the keys, we also got him My first blocks from fisher price, laugh and learn animal train also from fisher price, and a bunch of other toys from them. I myself LOVE fisher price. The quality of most of the toys is really great and durable. If you are having some trouble with what to get your son then I would recommend going to Fisherprice.com or playskool.com or littletikes.com and click on your son's age group and see what they recommend for his age!!! Hope this helps!!

My son loved/still loves his Leap Frog exersaucer. It is a round toy they sit/stand in the middle of. It has a microphone, a disco ball looking thing, a record player and a piano. It plays a lot of different music. My son is now 15 months and way to big to sit in it, but he still walks around it and pushes all of the stuff daily. It has held his attention for months!

At six months old my son loved his jumparoo. He would go crazy in it. We also got him a walker that turned into a walk behind and he loved that too. He was into pushing our kitchen chairs all over the house so I got him something that he could push anywhere and it wouldn't get stuck.
