So, I have been a part of this group for a couple months now and found that we really never got to talking and today I thought "why not?" Anyways I am writing this because I think that we should all introduce ourselves or reintroduce ourselves and write about what we want from this group.
I am Caitlin. A 24 year old mother of one 6 month old baby girl, Sadie. She is the sunshine in my life and I would do anything to better hers. I am currently a stay at home mother, but looking for some part time work right now :(. I am outgoing, enjoy company over coffee or tea and like to try new things. My daughter is very mellow and loves to laugh. I find it so amazing to watch her discover new things and I wish this part of parenthood would last forever. Overall, I am a happy go lucky person who tries to take the best things out of life, go with it and learn from the worst.
Personally, being a newbie to the Ventura county area, I am looking for other parents to socialize with. Maybe go to the beach (obviously in the summer) or out for hot cocoa at a local cafe, maybe playgroup at a park. Anything really. I am always up for suggestions and I would like to know if others are interested in this idea:
I plan to maybe once a week or every other week to post a "play date."
Something. Like I said I am open to suggestions.
