Hello,
My name is Trish and I am new to this group. We are having a hard time getting our 4 year old son to eat healthy. He also has some food allergies, so that does not help either. Some of the food allergies he has out grown, but we can't get him to try some of the foods he can now eat. Some of the food allergies that he has are peanuts, tree nuts, all beans, and that's just a few of them. He has out grown milk, eggs, soy, strawberries, and peaches. Because of the allergies we have to keep an epi-pen with us at all times. Because of the peanut and tree nut allergies being so bad the Doctor had to change his epi-pen from a JR epi-pen to an adult epi-pen.
Do any of you have this problem or anything like it with your kids? We have got to get him to eat more them just chicken nuggets, lunch meat, hot dogs, pizza, cheese and french fries for lunch and dinner. About the only things he will eat in the morning is bacon, cheese, or cheese toast, and sometimes the nutri-grain cereal bars.
