Brooklyn's Halloween Experience
This was Brooklyn's 2nd Halloween. Last year she was just 3 weeks old, so aside from Pumpkin jammies there wasn't much celebration. This year, she is just 1 year and 3 weeks old but WOW what a difference. She enjoyed her Bumble Bee costume complete with a stinger on the hiney.... I thought she would try to take it off but she didn't. We mostly visited people we know, saw several of the shut-in elderly ladies we know, and she made out like a bandit. Despite not really being able to eat candy yet, she got several things she could eat like Jello, string-cheese, animal cracker packs, etc. One person even got her a stuffed rabbit in lieu of candy... I was just really surprised at how thoughtful everyone was. I was dreading it because my husband had to work, but it was actually an enjoyable experience. Fortunately the weather cooperated and it wasn't as crazy with traffic as it has been in previous years. It turned out to be a HAPPY HALLOWEEN afterall.

Glad to hear that Halloween turned out so well! We took Patricia trick'r'treating on Papa's street. Last year she stayed home with us and helped pass out candy because the weather was so nasty. She was a great witch, and was very brave even though we had 2 houses that were creepy :). Most of the treats we received were fairly healthy, with one or two sweets thrown in.
