Welcome! Introduce you and your baby here

Lets get to know each other better by introducing ourselves and our babies! Please keep introductions here in this post so that we don't end up with a ton of posts on the same subject!! Who are you? When was your baby born? How premature were they? What did they weigh? How many weeks did they stay in the NICU? What do they weigh now? I will start. My name is Kim My baby was born August 27, 2007. He was due Sepember 27, 2007. I had severe preeclampsia and was very sick throughout my entire pregnancy so they decided to induce me. I later found out the baby had given me gallstones also and that;s what was making me sick everyday. He was exactly one month premature. He weighed a whopping 7 pounds 3 ounces. It seems like a lot, but he suffers from a lot of breathing problems due to his prematurity. He now weighs eleven pounds two ounces. God was by our side and we were extremely lucky he never was in the NICU. He did need oxygen for a few hours after he was born though.

Hi my name is Jodie. My baby was born may 14th 2007 he was 5 weeks early his due date was June 19th 2007. He had to stay in the NICU for 3 weeks. He was breathing fine he just wasn't eating as much from a bottle or nursing from me. But he weighed 5lbs 7oz He is now 10 months old and weighs 20lbs so he is definitely a good eater now. And he is my world.
