Welcome! I have a 6 month old daughter... I guess i should be prepared for the crazy busy times ahead! I thought I was busy now. : )

Hi,
I'm mandy, i'm 22 and have a 6 month old daughter, so far my one and only. we want to have atleast 3 more children. we live in the great big sky country of montana. I love my little girl more than anything, she acts exactly like her father most days. She actually just started saying dada, and i'm pretty sure she knows what it means becuase she only does it when he is in the room. |

Hey,
My name is Crystal and I am 25 years old with a 2 year old. I know what you mean with the whole crazy/busy life is with a 2 year old. I work part time and then full time wife and mother. I dont remember the last time i had a second to myself. I cant even go into the bathroom anymore without a little girl right behind me. Privacy is so hard to come by anymore. Plus we are in the process of buying our first home and all of the craziness with that. I dont know what time is anymore. I look at the calender and then the clock and it just meshes together. Well anyway thought i would say hi. Have a great day.

| Hello, I am not a lady but I am a member of the group......LOL I am a 32 year old divorced father of 5 kids the youngest 2 are girls ages 12 and 8, I am presently unemployed and taking online college classes. I joined Raising them and the groups that I did to provided the male side of things I hope to be of some help and maybe get a little help as well. |

| Hello, my name is Dalila and I have a three month othd baby girl named Sofia. She is a very happy baby and loves to laugh and smile all the time. We recently found out she has hip dysplasia and has to wear a brace for at least three months, but even so she smiles all day! She brighten up every room and I am so lucky to have her in my life! |

Hi everyone,
I'm a SAHM to 4 1/2 month old Emma, who is currently trying to learn how to put her pacifier back in her mouth when it falls out (please, please, learn soon Emma, Mommy needs more sleep!!!).
Emma's a happy, contented girl, who loves stories and listening to me sing (poor child!), and I've recently started signing to her.
Has anyone had success with sign language for infants? I'd be curious to hear about your experiences.

Hi everyone, I'm a WAHM and have a little boy and girl. My daughter Lucy is 27 months old going on 16. I had to laugh at some of the posts because it's so nice to know that your not the only one going crazy sometimes.
And hi Chris! I use to sign to Jack when we was little and it was great. I didn't start until he was about 10 months or so but it helped keep him from getting frustrated all the time. I didn't sign with Lucy because well I guess I just got too busy and she was talking before I knew it. The poor second child gets the short end of the stick sometimes. I think I still have some books on it. I will look and see and if I do your more than welcome to them!
Anyway I look forward to talking to everyone.

| Thanks Lindy! Barak gave us a sign language starter kit (DVDs, books, and quick reference lists) for Christmas, and I've been signing some of the basics to Emma for a while anyway. I've heard that you should start signing around 5 months, and that it'll be a few more months before she can start to imitate signs, but it's worth practicing anyway! |

Hi!
I'm Amy...I'm the mother of one girl, Anya, who will be 5 in January. I'm a working mom. My husband and I recently moved from Denver to south Texas for a change of scenery. We are busy raising this....little person (she's not a baby anymore)and we fly by the seat of our pants every day.
She's our only child and will be. I have a few concerning medical conditions that keep me from ttc or conceiving at all, but we're a great trio!
I'm happy to meet all of you!
