Just curious at what places you moms have memberships at for your families? We have a zoo membership and are planning on getting a Children's Museum membership. The winter is coming up and we're looking for playdates/things to do for the indoors to keep us from getting cabin fever.
Is the Childrens Museum one really worth it since I have kids so young ( almost 19 months and almost 5 months old)?
I am not sure about anything in Pittsburgh yet, but I definitely think we should all get together and work out a schedule where we can meet up weekly or every other week. Once we live closer to the city our home will always be open for playdates. Can anyone meet up next week sometime...maybe Thursday again? If it is not too cold, maybe at a park or even Chuck E Cheese or something so the kids can run and we can actually have a conversation. Anyone have any suggestions? I have lots of ideas and look forward to everyone else's ideas and suggestions.
The children's museum definitely does not have too much for very young kids. For the same price you can get a membership at the Center for Creative Play (on Braddock Ave). Lots and lots of toys and activities, playhouse, climbing equipment, costumes, play kitchen, a sensory room, and they have plenty of toys for younger babies too. Worth every penny!
