Cook "short" pasta that you can eat with a spoon. Please choose good brands such as Barilla or De cecco, it makes the all difference. Cook some tomato sauce, when it is ready take it away from the fire, crack an egg and mix. Drain the pasta and add the sauce. Serve and sprinkle goat cheese or parmesan! (Carbs, antioxidant, animal protein, dairy).
Sounds yummy, never thought of an egg before. I cook "long" pasta. After I drain it I cut it into "small" pasta by putting it in a glass bowl and using kitchen shears. Point the shears toward the bottom of the bowl and just keep cutting until it is all small. It is really fast and easy and the pasta doesn't fall out of the strainer.
Great ideas! I love angel hair, and I always cook "short" noodles for my son... never thought of cutting the noodles with scissors! The egg is also a great way to sneak in extra protein and nutrients. Thanks!!!
