...our town librarian say, "Wow! Kelly, you've lost some weight haven't you?"
Since early April, I've lost 24 pounds. I lost 20 quickly, and now I'm losing v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y. But I'm stilll losing and not gaining - yeah! |

That is fantastic Kelly. I know how important it is for us to hear from somebody that we have lost weight. Especially if it is somebody who didn't know we were trying to. Keep up the good work. I have been slowly getting back into my routine and I have made myself take the stairs at school everywhere I go and I will tell you this week my calves hurt a great deal so I guess I am working out something right? Keep up the hard work and please share your routine with the rest of us. |

I lost the first twenty with lots of exercise and a very strict adherance to a lower calorie range (1200-1500). I plataeued and didn't lose for a while - but I didn't gain either.
I'm loosely adhering to my diet now and I weight every day. My lowest weight so far is 156; if I see 159 or higher on the scale I cut back dramatically.
A good resource for losing weight in a healthy way is sparkpeople.com - it's free, you can log your calories, log your exercise, find a forum that fits you, read articles by health professionals, and more. |
