I haven't had the pleasure or experiencing potty training first hand but I have worked for a lot of mothers and helped them potty train their kids here are some things that have worked. I know it may sound gross but let your son watch you use the bathroom or your hubby so he can see that it isn't something to be scared of. Also to have him wear big boy underwear and praise him for when he tries to go potty. Or if your not up to the extra laundry have him wear those pull ups that he will feel cool after wetting himself. But what I have seen work the most is 'big kid' undies during the day and a diaper at night. Praise him if he doesn't wet himself at night and don't be angry if he does encourage him that he can do. I hope that this has helped you! Take care and good luck both of you!
