Pro's of Homeschooling
~Better social skills
~Custom fitted curriculum/spending extra time when she doesn't get it/moving ahead quickly if he does
~Enhanced family relationships
~You know exactly what your child is being taught and when
~Specific to my family: no bullying; no catty Queen Bee girls teaching my daughter to treat everyone else like dirt
~Can include your religious beliefs in curriculum
~Not as many kids (if any) to compete with your child for the teacher's attention
~Studying in-depth the topics that your child is really interested in; participating in gardening/animal husbandry at home or with relatives or friends
~Employers really like homeschool kids because they are polite and take direction well
~Colleges really like homeschool students because they are usally more advanced than the average freshman and they have such great study skills

Cons
~Sometimes we have a little TOO much togetherness
~You either have to spend a lot of money to buy curriculum or a lot of time to create a curriculum.
~I get so tired of my elderly grandmother bringing up socialization over and over again! But she can't help it!

I have a website with my experiences, opinions, and a bunch of links to homeschool resources: http://kellylee.info and another member of this group, Cassandra, has a freebies page at http://educationalfreebiequeen.com
