Thank you so much for your welcome. I am new to homeschooling I am trying to read up on evrything so i can get started with my 8 year old son. He is in 3rd grade and we live in Homestead florida. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to drop me a letter. The schools here are running at the same level slow and while it my be graet for some kids it holds up the others they dont beleave in different levels of the same grade so the more advanced get fustrated and bored i dont want that happening so i have decided to take the homeschooling route i figured i cant be worse than the schools in our area they are D schools wish me luck and thanks for having this forum Maria

With your very realistic attitude that different kids need different things from school - I'm sure you are going to do great.
