Hi everyone,
I am having a very hard time locating anyone who is interested in starting a playgroup in my area. Does anyone have suggestions on how to go about finding like minded parents in their area. What local resources have members used to find playgroups and such? We are in the Houston, TX area. I would love to find some parents who would like to get together. My home is open for a group as well. Although it's small, I have a decent size play area for my little one. And yours. |

| I was having the same problem in my town. You can also post something on your blog on this website or a question. Thats what I did and we have a play date this Wednesday. I also posted something on babycenter.com and we had some parents invite us to play at local parks. Good Luck and I hope you find some playgroups. |

| Hi Mark. You could try playgroupusa.com or maybe look into local preschools, some have a playgroup for little ones. Also try libraries or your peds office might have a posting, you could also post one too! If there is a gymboree in your area check out the preview class there is a lot to do and lots of fun!
