I actually made one last night and used a recipe on-line and just used 1/2 cup of sugar, rather than the full cup that it suggested. It was actually delish! lol I think it would have been way too sweet with the full cup. My suggestion is to use a recipe that you have and cut the sugar in half if not a quarter and taste as you go. good luck.
Thanks. I've done that with other recipes, but I guess I was afraid to try it with pie because it may be too tart. I will give it a try and see what happens.
