Is buying online a better deal?

Sometimes I do my grocery online, rarely I buy clothing, mu husband buy the shoes because he always buy the same brand and the customer service is so good with free shipping and free return shipping. However I don't really see a big saving just the conveniency of not having to go to the store. Any online good shoppping secrets? vero
