Children and Dating
How do you explain your children that you have a date? That someone who is not his/her father or mother is going to have a romantic dinner.
Kids, in general, like to have a simple world with clear rules (actually they are a bit conservative), how do you handle the dating question?

i'm absolutely stumped on this. my ex (when the kids were with him in the beginning of our seperation and divorce proceedings) would mention that i was with my "friend' in a negative way..he hasn't handled things well, and at this point (almost a year from divorce, and 2 from seperation) i don't think they would be able to handle hearing i'm going to date another man..i think if my ex got his stuff together, and was more stable, they would be more open to the situation......it's rough!
