| I have been searching for a group here in Portland Maine and was surprised at the lack thereof. I am hoping that this turns into something great. I look forward to the upcoming discussions and hopefully meet-ups. |

| Thanks for starting this group. We recently moved back to Maine from DC and are hoping to meet some other new parents (our daughter is 10 weeks old). Let's hope this group grows! |

Welcome to Mila and Suzanne!
My husband and I moved back here to Portland back in July with our 2 month old son. He is now 5 months and we are settling in a bit, but still haven't really made any connections with people here. Hopefully this group will be good for all of us! |

| Have there been any meet ups scheduled? It is really tough to find groups around here that do not cost $$$ to join or to participate in activities. |

| I am going to check out the BirthRoots drop-in group for moms and babies today. Tuesdays 12-2pm is for 0-4 months and Mondays and Thursdays 12-2pm are for 0 - 12 months. It's at the Ballard House - 131 Spring St Portland. It's free but donations are welcome. You guys are welcome to check it out too - I will let you know how today goes =-) |

| I wanted to see if people in this group were interested in meeting up before we tried to schedule something. Plus, I work full time so the day time groups don't work for me. How did the Ballard meetup go? |

| The Ballard House group is nice - lots of moms with tiny babies in the 0-4 month group. Adriana is 3 months now so we might try the 0-12 month group. I would be up for a weekend meet-up for working moms. I am back to work part-time next week. |
