Hi Whitney,

I suggest you do what is best for your daughter first. If he is a danger to her, then leave him. My husband and I went through a hard time when my son was born (He's now 8 months old.), but things are steady now. It was hard because tempers flew when the baby would cry, or have colicky or teething episodes. We just didn't know what to do but get angry with each other about it. And yes, this still goes on now but not as often. :)
I'd say if he is not a danger to your daughter or you try to work things out. This is a very hard time and alot of change for the both of you, and your daughter needs a father. You will definitely need his help too (physically, emotionally, financially)- just make sure he can offer it.

Take care.
