Hi! A friend of mine has a 5 month old and is going to be travelling in about a month and gets motion sickness really bad. Does anyone know if it is ok to take dramamine if she is breastfeeding? Does she have to pump and throw some out and if so, how long until she can breastfeed again? Thanks!! |

I would suggest calling either the pharmacy or a doctor. I took it once on a trip when my daughter was about that age. It didn't seem to affect her and I didn't pump and dump. |

I agree she should check with the Dr but she should be ok, I had to take it when I was pregnant. |

I've read- and doctors and pharmacists agree- that Dramamine is dangerous to give to kids under the age of 2. Use caution if you decide to do this. My little boy is a hellian, but I won't ever resort to giving him that. |
