Re; Need advice
My child cruises everywhere. He can walk holding onto furniture and pushing along his toy vaccume. Do you think he'll be walking by himself pretty soon?

Sincerely,
Margaret

my son started doing the same sort of thing at 9months then walked at 11months, I think they forget to hold onto something and next thing before you know it they are standing next to you, and in the case of my son once he started he never stopped, good luck!

Holding on to push toys and furniture is definitely the first sign that your little one will be walking on his own VERY SOON. Enjoy your freedom now... because once he's up and running on his own... he'll never stop!!!

I know you have probably heard this a million times but eery child is different and they are also pre-programmed to master certain milestones at a certain age. If your child is cruising or walking with a vacuum then the only other thing I can say is to have you and another adult that your child adores sit facing each other with the baby in the middle and have the child practice. This way they still feel safe and it is a game. Good luck, you will get there and then you'll think remeber how nice it was when they just craweled!!!!
