Re: Need advice
Hi I was wondering when would be the average age for a toddler to start walking?

My oldest started fully walking at 11mo. and my youngest is 10mo. old and has almost mastered it. But I have a friend whos daughter didn't start until she was almost 17mo. old.

Yeah, it can vary. My daughter started walking at 6 months! no joke! She walked on her own by 10 months, but my friends daughter didn't start walking until she was about 14 months...and their just 2 weeks difference in age.

My daughter started by holding on to furniture at 10 months and had walking everywhere inside and outside the home by 12 months, everychild is different. Just be sure to childproof you home.

My child cruises everywhere and walks holding on to furniture and pushing along his little walker. Does it sound like he will be walking soon.

My son didn't start walking until he was 15 months. I remember I was worried, but looking back I am glad he started late. When he started walking ,two weeks later he was running and I was in trouble.

It sounds like he is on the right track, he will be walking very soon.
