I feel exsausted
having a child with high needs is so exsausting...sometimes I tell my husband I'm ready to check myself into a mental hospital since I feel so defeated by not being able to help our daughter. She has gotten better but feeding her is such a challenge...so much so that I can NEVER have time for myself..maybe two hrs at the most...but rarely. I guess I'm over the fact of how much work it takes...I just want her to be better and to be able to eat everything. I'm glad she's finally off neocate and on dairies. But I think she might not tolerate soy very well and it's really hard to find foods with out it. Does any one else feel this way??? how are you coping with this???

I would like to hear more about your child. I see that she was on Neocate, my daughter is still on it and she is 13 months. I can totally relate with what you are saying.

I have not gotten much feedback from the group but I am on a website called momswearingpuke.com so why don't you come and check it out. The moms there are vey supportive and you have all kinds of Moms that deal with GERD and feeding issues. Before you sign up you can read posts to see if maybe you would like to join. I will still reply to you here but I would like you to get into a group where you can get more support and more ears, it sounds like you need it right now.

Talk to you soon, Annette

Thanks!! I will check it out. I have a question, how much does your daughter eat??? how many ounces of neocate does she normally drink...per feeding and do you have weight issues with her?

Yes I do and she drinks 4 ounces of Neocate at a time and sometimes 3. I am having weight issues with her now she weighs 17-11 and 13 months old. She does not eat solids and is a very picky eater.

How old is your daughter and how much does she weigh?
