Homeschooling Parents Topic of the Week - The Games People Play!
If you read my last post you are aware that nearly everyone in my family is hooked on one form of internet game or another, which leads me to the question:

What internet game(s) do you and your family enjoy? And tell us a little about them!

16yo Daniel likes runescape at www.runescape.com. I don't know much except he walks around and talks to people and just bought a $4,000 ring for his "girlfriend."

11yo like Neopets. She earns Neopoints by playing games and stuff, then buys food, clothes, toys, etc for her Neopet.

49yo Jay like Pokerstars. He plays Texas Hold 'Em, but I've seen there are other varieties available. He plays against actual real people from all over the world for fictitious money.

The big online game in my home right now is World of WarCraft or better known as "WOW" on the internet. It's the one game that most of the family can play. My little, Isaac, is still to young to play the game. (LOL)

We have a variety at our house! My 15 (too soon to be 16) yo is hooked on RuneScape, as well as my 16 yo nephew, and 12 yo son. However, my 12 yo also enjoys alllllll the Sims! They kind of go in phases: Runescape for a while...Sims for a while...something else for while...etc. I enjoy playing Hearts, Zuma, or Bookworm; but, I've been far too busy with homeschool lately to even think about games! My poor husband loves to play Tiger Woods Golf, but because we have 3 boys and a wife/teacher who are vieing for their turn he never gets to play anymore!
