Hello Ladies,
Well - besides 1 or 2 of you who have responded recently, this "group" really never got off the ground. I won't be planning anything for the group going forward, but if you'd like to exchange emails and meet at some point that would be great
For any of you who aren't getting out and don't know where to go, the Phoenix Library system has really good story hours for various ages. Go to http://www.phxlib.org and check out the location closest to you. The kids have a great time, and I've actually "met someone" myself! But don't tell my husband :o) JUST KIDDING... but I really connected with another mommy there and we're getting together with the kids on a regular basis now.
Especially if you're staying at home, but to all mommies, you need the friends and support system, and sometimes the only way to find it is making that effort. I was pretty lazy about it, maybe even shy to approach other women with kids, but I'm so glad I finally made myself do it.
Some friends and I are thinking about McCormick Railroad in Scottsdale next Friday... I will post something on here if we decide to go ahead and do that so that if you want to come please do!

We aren't doing the McCormick Railroad thing today... I'm getting morning sickness (just morning??? right...!) AND headaches on top of that, so I'm sticking close to home lately. All I can think is this one MUST be a girl, boys don't go to this much trouble to make their mother miserable, right???

Hi Raine,
Morning sickness YUCK! Honestly I don't get on the site much, here and there to check to see if anything is new. So I assume I missed your invites. When you are feeling better let me know if you want get together. I may try to hit the zoo Thursday or Friday this week since the weather will be nice. I heard of a new indoor gym place for kids on 32nd and Greenway, that might be nice for summer. Take care!!

Hi Shauna & everyone else...
Funny you should mention the indoor play place at 32nd & Greenway. It's called Fun Time 4 Kids and a small group of us considered going there last week. We didn't make it, but I'm sure we'll be doing that soon, so I will post the date and time! |
