Teething he also has 3 teeth and 3 new ones trying to come in at the same time all on top.

Per our Pediatrician we started solids at 6 months...so we are a little behind...thats ok its only a learning time...Im a SAHM and she wakes at 3:00 am and 5:00 am for a feeding and then is up at 6:00am to start our day. Dylan has been teething so bad that when he sleeps at night only weird he cries like he's in pain. Last night we had a really good night though. I have to alternate between teething tablets & tylenol. I am also a SAHM & I love it. I don't want to share Dylan with anyone else besides my hubby right now. We have our first feeding at around 4:30-5:30 am sometimes we are able to take a short snooze. He takes two naps between 1/2hr -3hrs whoopee! usually a short one then a long one. It's lights out at night at 7-7:30. That's what our day is like.

Hmmm mine are doing so much they have been crawling for a couple months now and in the last few days started pulling themselves up on their baby gate which is awesome because they were 11 weeks early and are actually doing things a baby older than them would be doing! my son says mama now and baba.. my daughter is too busy doing her growling and copying noises she hears lol.. they both have their bottom 2 teeth and my son is getting his top 2 teeth and is VERY FUSSY! so i know what you mean about the no napping during the day it stinks! my mil moved in with us for a year to help me with the kids at night since my hubby works over night so she takes care of my son which at night is the easier of the two and i have my daughter in the room with me in a crib. they both wake up for late night feeding but only USUALLY once and if they have gas they wake up more often... they don't go to bed until 9-930 but they do sleep till 9am which is great for me!! i cant wait till their checkup at the end of the month to see how much they weigh!! :)

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't wrote but I have been so busy. Well Gianna has been crawling now for about 2 months. She is def into everything. She has no teeth yet but soon her two bottoms one will be in here! She still manages to eat some finger foods. She started to give kisses the other day. (so cute) She also says mama and dada.

I forgot her sleeping schedule. She goes to bed around 9-9:30 and get up around 8 so I am not complaining. It really works out great for us. She takes two naps a day anywhere from 1/2 hour to 1 hour long. Has three meals a day and three bottles too. How is everyone doing with the finger food and solids?

Brody began army crawling the end of June and got up on all fours the beginning of July. In August he learned how to crawl all the way up our stairs with Daddy behind him and me taking pictures in front of him. He's got 2 bottom teeth and working on top ones. He has been pulling himself up to everything for a few weeks. He's just now starting to cruise around but would rather sit and crawl to the next destination. :o) He loves walking when we hold his hands and is constantly putting things in his mouth! He ate his first bug yesterday (yuk) and wouldn't let me into his mouth to get it out. I told his Dad and he said, "Hmm, more protien!" lol I know I ate a few as a kid growing up on a farm. Brody's into everything and has figured out which cabinets don't latch shut. He's not saying and "adult" words, but he's just recently (about 2 weeks) started shouting, rolling his tongue, and making more syllables. He's got a great personality! We're getting better at the sleeping all night, but last night he was up at 4:00 a.m. playing in his crib in the dark.

Hi Laura,
We started our son on 3rds around the beginning of 9 months. Our pedi even suggested it. He has a little bit of a hard time with some of the pieces of food in them; rice, noodes - sometimes they get stuck on the back of his tongue and he gags a little. When you do switch, try mixing some of stage 2 and 3 together to help get your twins use to the texture. I know every child is different, so maybe yours won't have the same issues with the chunks as my son did! :-) Also, we started giving him the Gerber Puffs (his favorite are peach) around 7 1/2 months and he did really well with them. They melt/dissolve fairly quickly so there's little risk of choking or swallowing them whole. Good luck!

Thank you Jenni! I have been so nervous to feed them the 3rds just for that reason.. my daughter doesn't do different textures very well.. we gave her peas once and because it was a thicker texture the end result was a picture out of the exorsist... nasty and all over me!! lol. We bought the puffs im glad you mentioned them because i haven't tried them yet but i think i will try some tomorrow! :o) ill let you know how it goes

How funny! Brody loves babyfood sweet peas but won't eat them if I cook them. He'll mash them up and spit them out. I don't get it, they taste the same so I think it's just how it feels. I can't seem to find any 3rd peas or carrots, but most of the meats he eats has them in it so I think that's one reason he eats the meats. He loves peas and carrots! Good luck with the Puffs!

I bought the puffs for Dylan he'll eat them but he would rather have cheerios with every meal. He doesn't like peas by themselves anymore I can only find regular peas & not sweet peas in every stage but stage 1

Calvin has been crawling since end of May, so now we're into the standing, some cruising, but for quick getaways and to reach things more quickly, he sticks to crawling. He loves going up and down the stairs (supervised of course), and will "walk" down them holding my hands. He loves to chase balls and will bat one with his hand and then crawl after it. He also loves chasing our feet when we shuffle backwards. His bedtime is 8 PM and he is up between 7-7:30 AM. He's been napping about once a day from 11:30-1 or 2 PM. Foods... still breastfeeding. For solids he likes oat o's, and I usually give him 2nd stage fruits mixed with oatmeal for breakfast, sometimes bread or a pancake. He likes to hold these and take bites (he has four teeth up top and two on the bottom). Lunch we usually have a veggie burger and some 2nd stage veggies or meat combo's and some bread. Dinner usually the same, but with whatever meat I've made. He's funny about picking up slimy foods (fruit) but likes dry things. He also prefers the jarred veggies versus mashed up adult veggies, so it must be the consistancy. Anyway, I think that's everything! It's seems to change so much so quickly!
