O/N diaper recommendation
I've been using Huggies O/N diapers and find they do not work very well. Does anyone have any recommendation on which O/N diapers that really works?

I use Luvs and they have never leaked. They are now stretchy, so they are a more snug fit. I also never liked Huggies. My son leaked through 3 in one night once.

I use pampers swaddlers and love them

I use pampers baby dry, they seem to be the only ones that dont cause diaper rash for Emilie. The down side is that they fit small, since Emilie has such chunky thighs I have to use size 6, they are a little big but I have not had them leak.

I tried a bunch of different kinds of diapers for my son and found that Luvs stretchable works the best for us.

I've been using pampers swaddlers. My son cant use huggies or luvs because he pees out the top of them, plus now that he's sleepin through the night, pampers is the only thing that can hold it all without leakage!!

James is too big for Pampers swaddles. I guess I'll have to try Luvs.

Jackie, you said Pampers Dry run small for Emily. James too have chubby legs. He weighs almost 24 lbs. Does this mean I may want to consider buying size 5 rather than 4?

try a small pack of 5's and see how they fit. Emilie would get red marks where her leg and hip met. The size 6 looks like she could wear it as a bra (lol) since they come up so high. I did notice a big size difference between the 5 & 6. I hope she doesnt grow out of these, they are the largest. Next is pull-ups.

pampers swadlers are the best when you are starting out and then pampers cruisers for the next level after 2

My daughter will sleep 8 hours and then I change her at 5am and then she sleeps till 7:30. No Leaks! I have used Huggies Supreme they work very well never leaked, also pampers cruisers never leaked. I tried Luvs and don't like them at all! They gave my daughter a rash.

Hannah is really little and pampers swaddlers are the only diapers that fit her. I tried huggies but they leaked all over and I used white cloud newborns but they needed to be changed much more often. I did like the Kirkland diaper (costco brand) I tried but they are still too big on her. I know they're more expensive but the pampers are my diaper of choice :)

I use the kirkland brand...i love them...they really hold alot...i used pampers swaddle at first but became to expensive so i switch to kirkland and they have never let us done...my son aslo is alittle chunky around the legs and they seem to fit him really good..

Do you have to be a member at Costco, like at Sam's club? Or is it open to everybody?
posted by Mandy on 09/11/2007 11:22 PM

you need to be a member...if you know someone who is you can use their membership...if not i feel it is worth it to join with all the money I have save when it was come to buying diapers and wipes...

You may also want to try diapers.com. I found their price to be reasonable and if you purchase $50, you get free shipping.

We have always used Huggies Supreme and they have worked well for us.

Has anyone tried the Sam's Club brand Member's Mark? They are less expensive than the huggies, but I'm afraid to buy that many diapers not knowing how they work.

Ok i dont know the lingo, but what is O/N? i love pampers...huggies make her smell like pee and we used swaddlers,,,and no we are into cruisers 3....
Costco and BJ's are the cheapest ANYWHERE...my husband did research trust me...we have been watching our pennies and I wont skimp on diapers.

thanks for the heads up about Costco and the other places - I have a Sam's membership...but I, too, am leary about trying the Members Mark diapers unless somebody knows anything about them...I'll check out diapers.com, too...and I'm with Wendy - what's O/N?
posted by Mandy on 09/12/2007 05:00 PM

I thinkg O/N means overnight diapers! Yeah I wouldn't try the members mark without knowing if they are good! That is a huge box and if you don't like them your in trouble. I still with Huggies Supreme or Pampers Cruisers!

Sorry I didn't mean to confuse anyone with O/N. It does mean over night. I was too lazy to type it out. Sorry.

ok.. now they make O/Ns? The only O/N I know is for us....LOL

Hi Wendy,
Huggies makes an overnight diaper, after that they have pull-ups. I have never tried them, since Emilie has sensitive skin and gets rashes very easily I keep using the pampers baby dry. They are more expencive then the others but they seem to work well for her. I really like the new pic, she is so cute.

ohhhhh!!!! thanks Jackie, she's getting big

I usually like pampers baby-dry the best, except that last week when I bought them they were different than the last time. They didn't stretch, so unless I got my wiggly baby to lay perfectly still they were crooked. The packages were exactly the same, so I'm really hoping that they didn't change them to the no-stretch tape. Has anyone else noticed this?
posted by Amy on 09/17/2007 08:54 AM

I havent had any problems with the tape, but sometimes they stick and I end up ripping the tab off. This has happened only a couple of times. Amy is you baby small enough for the swaddles? I used those until Emilie grew out of them.

Gabriel still fits in Swaddlers and I use them sometimes, but they just don't seem as absorbant as baby-dry.
