Which one is the bad one?
As a mother of twins I have been confronted to this question many times. I always answer: they are both bad! People laugh and move on to another topic. I am just wondering how would my kids feel if I would actually I wold answer this question. Why people are so inappropriate and disrespectful to a child?

I haven't gotten that one - but oh my, people just don't think sometimes. I get really tired of answering questions to strangers - who's the oldest? (they are twins), how do you tell them apart? (I'm the mom it's my job), did you know you were having twins? (would it have mattered either way?) People just don't understand that there have probably been 20 others asking those same questions to me today. And they wonder why I don't want to leave the house.

I get that all the time. I absolutely hate the word "bad". I never, ever tell my boys they are bad and I hate it even more when someone asks me which one is the bad one. I have told my family members to never, ever tell them they are bad because children internalize that negative stuff. Then they grow up and learn to believe that they are bad. AAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!! I was told I was bad everyday of my life and I vowed never to use that word to refer to my children. If they make a mess, I usually start singing "mess maker, mess maker, make me a mess" really silly and they usually begin to laugh but they also go into the naughty chair for their misbehavior. When they do something wrong, I tell them that was inappropriate and that they need to do their naughty chair time. I can't complain, it works!! :)

People have even gone as far as to ask if I used drugs to have twins. Like it is any of their business......Some people have no brains

Also, I am really tired of answering the ever popular question "Are they twins?" I have always wanted to tell people, no they are cousins, what the heck do you think. Today I got "are they yours?" Like I would be crazy enough to take out the neighbors twin boys!!!! LOL The other one I don't like is "ooooh, double trouble" I always reply to that one with "NO!! Double Love and Hugs!!"
