Any new moms with twins out there?
Hi all...I'm new to this site. I'm a new mom with fraternal twin girls and looking for other moms out there with twins that I can chat with. My husband and I had such a hard time conceiving and when I finally got pregnant, we were overjoyed. Nothing could have prepared us for the birth of our girls...at this point we are both physically and emotionally drained and there are times when i regret having them. I feel so guilty for feeling this way because I know I should be thankful for our blessings; I know alot of couples who are still struggling to conceive. Is there anyone out there who could shed some light on the situation? Maybe give me some words of wisdom to help me get through this rough time...

Whenever you start to feel this way just start thinking of all the good stuff.Think about all the awesome things you will get to experiance with your girls. I dont have twins just a 20 month old daughter. It can be stressful and tiring with one so i do sympathize with you but it is sooo worth it. I know you feel the same way about your girls. Dont beat your self up for feeling stressed. I tis an adjustment and you will get through it.Sorry if i wasnt much help but know you are not alone.

Jennifer
I too have frat. twin girls (mine are 14m 3w)

I totallt understand how you feel ... I too had a struggle getting PG and after so many years and tries, I felt so guilty for feeling like I needed a break and I felt I had no right to admit I had PPD (even to myself)

it is normal to feel the strain you do ...

my first advice is talk with your doctor (it took me 11m to do so and I am so glad I finially did) next join a play group (twins or not, just interact with other moms, you are NOT alone)

by all means feel free to e-mail me with any questions at all ... no question is too strange, we have all been there

HUGS
