| Samara's 19 months, Elijah's 5 1/2 months, I'm 2 1/2 months pregnant. If I'm not already insane, I soon will be. lol The first two are 13 months and 13 days apart, and the second two will be so close together that the third one may very well be born before Elijah's first birthday. I'm not looking forward to telling my family - they're going to kill me! Three kids in two years is kind of a lot, so I'm getting my tubes tied so that this can NEVER happen again. They did C-sections with the first two, so I know I'll have another one, and while they're in there...SNIP, SNIP. No more kids! Like magic. ;) |

| wow!!! you have been busy!! lol!! i have a 9 year old, a 19 month old and a 1 month old..so i can understand, i had c-sections with my last two, and i had my tubes tied this last time too!! NO MORE!!!! I will tell you though that you will be alot more sore after a c-secton and having your tubes tied, and it will take them alot longer when you are in surgery. No one told me that before, i figured it out afterwards. i wish you lots of luck with this 3rd one, something tells me that you are going to need it!! |

I can relate ladies. I just had my son last month and my daughter is 14 months older than him. They were both c-sections also. I am not going to tie my tubes as I may want more in the future but 3 in diapers would be a bit much!!! I told hubby he can't even look at me for the next year!! Congratulations on your pregnancy Megan.

lol You are not hte only crazy one out there I ahve 3 in diapers! my almost 4 year old has no intrest in the toilet. My 2 year old loves sittling on it has pottied once but doesn;t get it and my 4 month old well is just too young.. hope your family is happy for you.. you need thier support!

Hi Megan,
I'm new to this group & wanted to ask you a question...I've got 2 closely spaced kids (15mo's & 3mo's) had, a c-section with the last pregnancy, and want to have another baby as soon as it's safe to do so...just wondering what your dr.'s opinion was on becoming pregnant so soon (twice! - wow!) after a c-section? I'm asking b/c my dr. says no less than 18mo's and it seems sooo conservative to me. Thanks in advance for any info you may have! :) |

WOW!!!! You guys made me feel SO much better!!! Mine are 3 and 2, 16 months apart, and I am about 2 months preg. I see a lot of you have kids even closer..... So how the **** do you do it???? To top it off --- My kids dad left when they were 21 and 5 months - so I have been a single mom - Now I am preg by my BF - he's awesome. But I am SO scared to tell my family!!!!
I pray I will not have 3 in diapers in 7 months!!!!
Oh - I had my kids at home... debating on a hospital birth this time.... |

well megan,
it will be crazy for a while and you'll probably not remember much after lots of fatigue. we had 3 in 2 1/2 years so i'm with ya. they are 3,2 &1. the best advice i can pass along is to really be able to handle all 3 by yourself no matter what the outing. i don't have much help family wise so i do it all myself. my husband is great with them but it is quite challenging as i stay home with them. our latest outing has been the disney parks. they are learning how to deal with crowds and lines..holding hands and staying with me.
don't worry about family. we take what it is presented to us and deal. good that you are taking actions to prevent more choas. 3 is enough for us too.
good luck. you'll be fine. we all manage somehow.

Hi Megan, Well we have 2 1/2 in diapers. Soon to be three again in 6 weeks. My boys are 3,2,1 and due Oct. 7th. Our 3 yr old only wears a diaper to bed. The 2 yr old is our next one to conquer. He is interested but I'm building up my patience again. Then we have the 1 year old who obviously is still in diapers. Then we have the newborn coming in 6 weeks.
We have always planned 5 kids in 5 years and everyone in our family knows that. They never thought we would actually do it but here we are on #4. Next year I told my husband we were going to have a big party after #5 is born. It is a lot of work but well worth my children being here.
