New to the Heights

I'm looking for playgroups and mom groups. I don't know my way around Houston very well so I would like to stay in or around the Heights. I have a 3 1/2 and a 5 1/2 year old. Looking forward to making new friends. Sincerely, Julie B.

Julie, Hi my name is Sara I also just moved back to the hieghts it is a great place to live and have children. I lived out here about 2 yrs. ago when our daughter was and infant and ran into a woman at the store who asked me if i was in a playgoup. I went the next week and loved it, we started going on a weekly basis. The best thing I can tell you is to ask around if you see someone with kids ask them if they know of anything. They aslo had a dads group to and things for the whole family on the weekends. The only thing is you have to be invited by a member so thats why I suggest asking around. If u need anything else or want to know where anything is let me know
