I don't know much about Sign Language but I would be interested in getting my kids exposed to it. Now that they talk I see it is as a way of letting them know that people that have one disability still manage to have a happy life.

I don't use Sign Language at this time and don't know much about it but I would like to learn and teach my 6 month old some signs as a means to communicate with her before her verbal language skills develop. Hopefully it will eliminate some tantrums due to "miscommunication!"

I have been signing with my son-now2- since he was 10 months. It has been so beneficial. We still use it now even since he is speaking clearly. The wonderful thing about it is that we could communicate so well before he could say more than mama or dada. It creates a definite bond. And we have come up with some of our own signs for different things.
