HELP!!
My son is 8 months old. When he was around 6 months, he started sleepin through the night. (from like 10 or 11 until 7 or 8) but here lately, he's been reverting back to wakin up every 2-4 hours!! He still sleeps in a bassinet thing next to me because we just moved a few months ago and are still workin on his bedroom. anybody got any suggestions?

Is he teething? If my son is having a lot of discomfort from teething during the day, I'll make sure I give him something for it right before he goes to bed.

I also noticed that my son's sleep habits changed once we started him on solids. Have you started something different?

he may be adjusting to your new home. But I have to say i have noticed a lot of moms here saying thier babies have been changing sleep patterns. My daughter is now one and we went through this too. i just try to keep to a routine, she has dinner, a bath, bedtime story and then her bottle. most days I have no problem but sometimes she just wont sleep.

I agree he could be teething or just adjusting to his new home. Was he still sleeping in the bassinet at the old house? Maybe he is getting to cramped? If that is the case maybe try putting him to sleep in a play pen.

I agree that it could be teething. Something similar happened with my son. He was sleeping about 10-11 hours through the night but last week, he woke up around 3 am and 4 am very hungry. The only way to calm him down was to give him a bottle. He did this for 2 nights. He was going through growing spurt. He gained 2 lbs. within one week.

I would suggest just keeping with a routine. My son did something similar to this and I figured out it was because he was teething. Once those teeth finally broke through, he went right back to sleeping through the night again. However, when he is in a new place, he will wake up quite a bit. He takes a day or so to adjust and then things are fine. Don't lose hope!

My daughter is going through the same thing. My pediatrician told me that they are moving around now more than ever and they startle themselves awake. He told me she will be back to sleeping through the night in no time. Hang in there sleep is on the way
