Single Parents
Public online group

Just saying hi!
Hi everyone!

I'm Mary and I just joined this group. I've been attempting to join a support group for single mothers in my area, but I don't think such a group exists. So I'm doing the next best thing - I'm joining an online support group! I have a little girl who will be 2 years old in February. As I'm sure you all know, being a single mother is a VERY challenging job - however, it's very rewarding. I don't know what I would do without my daughter - she is my life. I'm glad to be here. :-)

Rachael, first of all welcome to the group. Second I know exactly how you feel. Im a stay at home mom with my son too. He will be 2 in July. The grow up so fast!!!!

Not many single parents get the privelage of being a stay at home parent and i were it like a badge, most of the time.

I could say the exact same thing!!!!!!!!!!!

except my life is my son.

I'm also new to the group. Whenever anyone ask about my single or married status... I'm proud to say I'm the mom & dad of my son.

In many ways,..... his coming into my life has been a GODS SEND.. and cannot imagine my life without him.

And as Mary said.... I'm glad to be here too.

I think women who are proud to say they are mommy and daddy both are the ones who make the best parents. The moms who are desperate to find a mate are more worried about that then the kids.

My son is 18 months old and even calls me dada sometimes....its cute
