Nick names
Does anyone have a nick name for thier child? We started calling Emilie scoochie shortly after she was born. Up until she was about 3 months or so she would squeak or scooch when she wanted something. I always thought it was strange that she never really cried, she just made these funny noises.

we called Rhiannon "Monkey" right after she was born ... she'd make these faces and sounds that sounded like a baby monkey

Carys we called "Crazy" (bad I know) but she would be laying there all fine and content and then all of a sudden for no reason let out a screetch and then just as fast go back to being all fine and content

we called me that till about 3 months

now they are either "baby girl" or sweet love" ... we call them both those ... on occation we have reason to call either "CRAZY baby"

We call our 10 month old " froggie" or " little man". He is a very handsome, sweet boy and likes to jump up and down while holding him. For Halloween we got him a "Froggie" suit for him to wear. I'll have to post a photo. :-)

We call my son Nicholas "Love Bug". I don't know where that came from or where I heard it but it fits him. I always say that he is the Love of My life too.

I call James sweetheart. Sometime when I call him by name, he ignores me but when I call him sweetheart, he looks over with a smile. This usually happens at feeding time.

My husband calls him "stinker" when he misbehave. Sometimes I call him "stinky bum" because his poop REALLY smells.

My daughter's name in Hannah and while I was pregnant I started calling her Hannah-bear. Now that she's here I still call her that but I also call her my little lovebug and chicken butt (I don't know where that came from...I was changing her diaper and said it one day and it stuck I guess).

My husband calls her Aflack b/c he says she poops like a duck...I'm so so fond of that one though...

And my sister calls her banana face (like Hannah Banana)

Like most of you, my Connor has several nick names. We call him Dragon because when he was first born, he made growling/ grunting noises. For this reason, he's going to be a dragon for halloween. :) I also recently started calling him uggerboo and boogerboo-- I don't know where thoes came from, but he likes it.

When Ian was first born, my husband and I called him "our little meatball" because he liked to squirm into a ball on our chests. That was his favorite position - his legs tucked up under him while laying on our tummys/chests.

Now we have a bunch of different ones, but the ones we tend to use the most our "little man", "bud", and my husband's favorite "wigglemidget".
