| My 5 month old daughter recently started to cry/whimper in her sleep. It has been going on for 3 nights. It doesn't happen at either nap, just bed time. Usually about a half hour to an hour after she has been asleep and then sometimes in the middle of the night around 3 or 4 am when I check on her she is sleeping, but tossing & turning. Is she dreaming? Should I gently wake her? |

| My son used to do that around 2 or 3 months. He would cry out, out of no where. I would go to him thinking he was awake, and he was sound asleep. I let him be. I always figured, never wake a sleeping baby. I also read a few months back that babies wake up several times a night and it could be she is just waking up, but falls back asleep. My son will still do that every now and then. He will make some sort of noise, change positions and goes right to sleep. |

| my daughter still will do this from time to time, and she is 17 months old. i've discussed this issue @ length with their pediatrician when she began doing this and could pretty much chalk it up to "night terrors". it is not uncommon for your daughter to do this and hopefully it will pass. just hang in there!! |

| Emilie still does this too, she will be one on friday. I usually check to be sure she is not stuck in the corner of her crib, I don't wake her up since she usually stops in a minute or two. |

| My daughter does this every once in a while. I was told that it was night terrors! Good luck this too shall pass. |

| My daughter, 12 months does wimper in her sleep still. Also sometimes she will giggle for a few seconds and smile in her sleep. I never wake her i just always assumed she was dreaming. If she ever giggles in her sleep, it's by far the cutest thing! |
