Welcome to the Group

I wanted a group where parents from small communities in the Central Iowa area can connect with each other, form new friendships, and have support for all their parenting needs. Feel free to chat about anything, maybe we can have some play dates for stay at home parents along with the working ones!!! I formed this group online so that we could chat, lend support, advice and hopefully get our children together for playgroups/playdates. What is everyone hoping to get from being a part of the group? I'm hoping to make new friends for my 13 mo old son so he's comfortable being around other kids. I want him to learn how to share with kids his age, have fun playing with kids his age, and most of all feel comfortable with other kids when he's not clinging to my neck! We tried daycare and it helped.. he was just catching too much of the stuff that was going around. So we're trying a new approach!
