| Any Moms out there ever feel the guilt of knowing that if you went back to work, your kids could have more? My family is very comfortable & we are very blessed, but my 9 year old is now realizing that is Mommy worked too, we could have things like more vacations, a pool, etc. I have a 9 & 3.5 year old that I love being with...I've been home for 8 years now. Any advice is welcomed! Thank you! |

Yes, I do feel that also. I worked when my girls were little, and never expected to have anymore children. i was surprised when i became pregnant with my son, who is now 17 months old. i realized i didnt want to miss out on as many things as i did with my girls, so i recently (2 months ago) became a SAHM. I think about the money aspect all the time. We are also blessed and comfortable, like you. however, sometimes i feel like if i went back to work, we could have more. but then theres that bigger part of me that realized money isnt everything. and we have to somehow show our kids that also. i feel selfish and maybe a little greedy when i think about it. lol |
