Tantrums
Anyone willing to give me their best tips with tantrums? I have a 16 month old girl who is very smart and understands me, the problem is she is not far along with words. She knows quite a few, but she doesn't say them a lot. She does talk a ton of baby babble. Her tantrums often start when she is trying to communicate what she wants and I don't understand. If I don't contain the tantrum within a few minutes she becomes inconsolable for at least 15 to 20 minutes. It's hard because my husband sleeps during the morning and lat morning because he works so late. I try very hard to keep her tantrums to a minimum because of this. She is especially cranky this week as she's been sick and not getting enough sleep with a nasty cough keeping her awake. So any pointers or even kind words of encouragement would be most appreciated. Thank you! Stephanoe
