Kendal,
I'm a single mom of 2. I have a 2.5 year old and a 10 yesr old in 5th grade. She is my adopted step daughter. Her birth mom walked out completely when she was 3. Then on 12/27/12 her daddy left us (she still sees him but it doeant help the abandonment issues). I went througj something similar. Had to take her to the hospital for threats of hurting hrself and such. It was tje longest year of my life. We had to pack up and move in 6/13. She had to transition to a new town new state new school woth her adoptive step mom. It was hard. I don't ever get on this site but your recent post happen to be in my email and for some reason I actually resd ot, I usually don't. It hit home, hard for me. I know the overwhelming feeling ypu have. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel. And I'd be happy to talk to you about what did and didn't work for me with my daughter. Please, drop me an email and we can talk, you can vent, I can try to give advice and maybe share stories and help eachother. What state do you live in and how old are ypur other kids?

There are options. Plenty of them I found out. You just need to know where and how to look for them. And how to push the right people to get them.
