Hello, my name is Jessica.  My husband, daughter, and I moved to Waverly in September, and I am looking to make some new friends for my family.  My daughter just turned two, and we would like to find other familes with kids her age to play with.

Nice to meet you.  I don't think this group is very active, as you are the first other mom to post in over 6 months.  I have an almost 17 month old daughter, and am possibly looking for other moms to do playdates with when the weather warms up a little bit (it's been so cold!)  I recently joined MOPS, a moms group that meets once a month at Jacksonville First Christian Church.  The next meeting is Jan 20th.  There is a fee if you decide to join, but it includes childcare, which is nice.  If this is something you think you would like to try out, just let me know!

Hello, it is nice to meet you too.  I haven't had much luck finding any groups.  The MOPS group sounds good.  I know my sister did a MOPS group with her first up in the Peoria area.  How much is the fee?  I would love to come check it out.  Do they do like the first visit free type thing?
