Does anyone have a special song for their children? We do: Tyler's is "I Hope You Dance" by LeAnn Rimes Ryan's is "Tapestry of Memories" by J. Brian Hill Sam's is "Find Your Wings" by Mark Harris
I am hoping that one day we will dance to those songs at THEIR weddings but, if not...they still fit each child perfectly and tells each of them how special they are to me and how much I love and care for them.

I actually wrote a little song that I sing to my daughter every night. I haven't actually picked out one that somebody else has made. That is a good idea I will have to stop listening to kiddy songs and see if I find one that speaks to me, Good question. |

Calvin seems to like anything I sing to him, but recently he likes Alloute. As far as calming him down, believe it or not, his song of choice is "Let's Dance" by David Bowie. It has worked to stop him from crying since he was about 4-5 months, and still never fails to catch his attention. Not sure why, but we seem to have a Bowie fan. |

Aldin was born while Hotel California by the eagles and Kyla was born to Strange Love by the Beatles. Those where just made their songs by fate, they seem to fit and they always take notice when i play their song. |

I have a song for both of my children that I sang to them when I rocked them to sleep as babies. Now that they are older, it has become a comfort song when they are sick, scared, when they just don't feel good or just want to be cuddled. I don't think that these are songs that we will ever dance to, but they do the trick for right now. Laci is "You Are My Sunshine" Daniel is "You Light Up My Life" |

We had Jimmy Buffet Playing in the delivery room when my son was born. So Now when I hear "Son of a Sailor" I think of him.
I haven't found a real Love song to dedicate to him yet. |
