New to the area!

Hi,

I'll be moving to Roseville (near Maidu Park) next month.

What does everyone reccommend for toddler classes and toddler activities?  Are there toddler music classes around?  Where is best for toddler swimming lessons?

Thanks!  I look forward to meeting all of you,

Sonya

Hi Sonya,You are going to LOVE the E.Roseville area!  With regards to todder activities...I would highly recommend Tricks gymnastics in Granite Bay, which is a 5-10 minute drive.  The staff and owner are wonderful.  They also offer a small class sized preschool, which my daughter graduated from.  I am not sure about toddler music classes but you can check on "Roseville Parks & Recreation Activity Guide" for any summer classes.  Swimming Lessons...Johnson Ranch Raquet Club (very close to you), Tricks Gym (Folsom..not so close) and Sea Otters in Loomis (about 20 minutes away) are all popular ones that I have heard about.  One place that was highly recommended to me was Sierra Community College, but it fills up FAST...like 15 minutes FAST.  My 3 kids took private lessons (because they are high maintenance ;-) ) and went to Starfish Swim School in Rocklin (a 15-20 drive for you).  This is a private home and she along with 1-2 other instructors offer private lessons.  My kids learned to swim in just 2 lessons.  Placer county is very family friendly and there are so many things to see and do with the kids.  Welcomesuzie
