Andrea, My boys (identical twins born 06/2008) are four and a half now, and let me tell you: Yes! It gets easier!

One day you will sleep again. One day you will go to the bathroom alone. You will even get to be who you are, aside from their mama.

My blog: www.loganandjack.blogspot.com

I started the blog when the twins were six weeks old, and it follows our journey from then to now.  Two of their four years I had to work, and I am so thankful now to be home! That alone made my life simpler.

If you have any specific questions or concerns, let me know. Having traveled the road you are on, I would love to help if I can.

I appreciate your response, its hard to find someone who understands. Your boys are adorable, i have a girl and a boy. I also have a 9 year old daughter, and i work full time. It just all feels very overwhelming. Im a very calm easygoing person, and i've never felt so stressed out before. They are very good babies, they are on the same feeding & sleeping schedule, so that helps.  I'm going to take a look at your blog, that might be a good idea for me, to be able to vent a little. Thank you.

I think it is up and down. I have 3 year old boy/girl twins & my hardest time was the first 4 months I thought it got much easier to manage after that. But I worked part time until they were 2, when I felt overwhelmed trying to keep it all going so decided to stay home full time. They are now moving into the no nap zone so we are in a rough patch again, but we will make it through. I'm sure you will too. As for what Shelly said about being able to go to the bathroom on your own, I only manage that when they are sleeping.

Andrea...for me each stage has had it's challenges....I was hoping things were going to get easier but we had a curve ball thrown at us with our boys development.  Our boys have had language delays...so typically it should get a little easier as your little ones can communicate to you.  But for us it has been super challenging.

I am hopeful though as they overcome these delays that parenting will get a little easier.
