Hello,

My husband and I and two small children live north of Denver and are considering relocating to the west Lakewood area, possibly Solterra. I was curious if anyone in the group knows about this area, specifically the quality of schools, access to conveniences and general quality of life. Is this a good area to raise kids? Does it feel safe? Is there access to lot of activities for the kids? I know there are certainly plenty of outdoor activities in this area, which is one of the appeals for us, as well as easy access to the mountains.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

My husband and I live in Lakewood and really love being able to walk up the street and into the mountians. The schools I've heard have opportunities for whatever needs a child has but my baby is too young for me to know much about the schools yet-plenty of good day care centers and seems like a safe place to live.
