Hello!

I'm Amanda, mother of a 2 year old and a 3 month old. I'm really just looking for some parents with similar ages to maybe meet up with. As it nears my daughter's second birthday, I had the displeasure of realizing that she really does not know many children her own age nor do I know parents with children really at all.

Anyways, I'm not too sure what else to say, but here it is! :)

I take my daughter to the "toddler time" play group every wednesday morning at the Ron wood center. She loves it! They have a 1 year old group at 9:30 and a 2 year old group at 11. (and your baby is welcome to come too!) 

If you are interested in coming, it is on the corner of Hot springs rd. and northgate in the buildings behind the victory Christian church. if you are in the parking lot, it is the door with the puzzle on it that says family to family connection (next to the WIC office) (2621 Northgate Ln)

Oh I've looked into that, but they are usually at certain times and I've never been able to make it. But, I might be able to do it next week. After that my husband and I will be working 3 jobs between the two of us. How old is your daughter? 

yeah, it's only wednesday mornings. I have a 3 year old son and my daughter is 19 months (and I am 34 weeks with #3) We are moving out of the area end of december though... Have you ever been to Sunset park? (off w. washington st. on sunset?) I was thinking about taking the kids there about 10 tomorrow if you want to meet us there! 

Congrats on number 3! That's a huge jump! I'm so afraid of number 3. How come you're moving? And no I've not heard or been to Sunset park. Maybe! That'd be fun! My daughter hasn't seen other children in a long time! But if we do, forwarning, she likes to chase little boys for hugs..lol

Haha, yeah, its a big jump. ;-) We are moving to Seattle because my husband got a job with Boeing. 

My son might get a kick out of that... though he can be pretty shy at first. Ellie might join in the chasing. haha

I'll plan on going for sure, so if you want to join us, feel free, but don't feel like you have to!

Haha, that's awesome. She is shy for a few seconds, but gets over it quickly. 

Most definitely! Where is it exactly? I might be able to! My daughter actually has been feeling not so great lately. :(

If you take washington st. and go west, it is just past mountain street, you make a left onto w. sunset. the park is right there off the corner. =)
